This is a 13-day, 12-night backpacking trip for 100 miles on the historic Appalachian Trail specifically for women over 50 (or a bit younger but don't mind a slower pace). Whether you are a beginner who doesn't even own a backpack or you are a seasoned hiker, you will enjoy this journey on the AT. Cheryl Wolfinger will be leading the expedition and the pace will be slow and steady, averaging 8-12 miles a day. Don't let fear hold you back. If you have ever wanted to do a section of the AT, this is your chance!
You will meet together at the Wilderness Initiative offices in Acworth, Georgia where you will be briefed and gear will be issued and checked. Then, you will be taken to a trailhead in north Georgia where our WI staff will guide you on your 13-day adventure.

WI refund Policy: We understand that life happens. WI will reimburse 90% of your payment up to 10 days before your expedition. We will refund 50% within 10 days or less of your expedition.
